I do not understand the people who constantly claim the Democratic and Republican Party are the same. The agenda of the Democratic and Republican Parties are very different. I do not understand how people claim the parties are two sides of the same coin. Democrats generally support Medicare, Medicaid, and Social Security. Democrats generally support women's rights. Democrats generally support the Affordable Care Act. Democrats generally support human rights. Democrats generally do not aspire to be dictators. Democrats generally do not heap praise on dictators. Democrats, now days, generally do not befriend racists. Democrats generally support gun control.
I do not really understand what people like them mean when they say the parties are the same. The only thing I can think of is that they are talking about trade deals. Are you really willing to give up everything good about the Democratic Party over a few minor issues? There are only two other options as to why some people say the Democrats are the same as the Republicans. One, these people are secretly Republicans and want the Republicans to win elections. Two, these people do not have anything to lose if Republicans win and change the laws, so, they do not care whether or not Republicans win elections.
