This has been a week of body blows, and this seems the worst by far, because it will last and last. I, too, am looking at leaving, because I see the storm gathering quickly now.

As I said on FB these times remind me of the part in Lord of the Rings when Gandalf refers to the Darkness which has crept over the land. Trump is evil and dangerous. Republicans in Congress are complicit in the destruction of our democracy and our civil liberties. We were attacked by a foreign adversary, and still yet Republicans will not stand up to the man who benefited from this attack. I wish I felt there was action to be taken, but other than voting in November, which I definitely will do, I can't think of anything else. Sad.
