She's a wonderful jurist and a great thinker but Ruth Bader Ginsburg should have retired before 2015 at a time when we had the presidency and the Senate, giving Obama a chance to appoint someone younger to that seat.

I truly believe that Kennedy saw the writing on the wall that the GOP might just lose the Senate this November and made the choice to get out while his party could confirm a replacement.
