If you live outside of the U.S.

But you are still a U.S. citizen, look up immediately what you need to do to get an absentee ballot, and please do it immediately.

I live in the U.K., and filled out the form and sent it in. It has been accepted.

Do it today, do it now, and most importantly, send in a new form every January. Don’t wait till the last minute.

Now, more than ever, it’s crucial.

Because

I really do care. Don’t u?

But it’s infinitely better than the U.S. right now.

I didn’t move here because of Trump. My husband is English, and this was a retirement plan, eight years in the making. But the timing couldn’t have been better.

But none of those countries offer retirement visas.

It’s not easy, even with an English husband. I’ll have to renew my visa two more times over the next 5 years before I can get permanent leave to stay. Visas are expensive, too. Plus, we have to have either a guaranteed income, or a very large amount in savings.
