Glad I Don't Have Any Children. No Kids No Debt No Regret.

Based on the years since Reagan and particularly now I now know that my decision to have NO children was a right one. For one I retired at 54 instead of 65. We also had the resources to help take care of my mother in her latter years and have my mother in law live with us for over 20 years until she passed at 104. We had the resources to provide full care for the last 8 months of her life. It was a terribly hard time 24/7.

None of it would have been possible with children to raise. And with the Trump presidency and GOP control I am more convinced than ever. The younger generations will have a terrible time if not impossible with financial security in the short term and long term. Retirement will be a luxury for the very few with GOP economic policies. We have the boomer generation to blame as far as I am concerned for keeping the GOP in enough power to screw the US. Aging boomers and some older folks are now struggling because of the way they voted. Anyone who voted GOP over the years helped set this mess up.
