Why is anyone suggesting the "mcconnel doctrine" or thinking there is anything to be gained by "demanding" that the turtle do the honorable thing?
Do they really think mitchy has a fiber of honesty or morality in his shriveled body? Does anyone think that any asshat who calls himself a republican is going to be "fair" about anything?
They lie. They make up shit. They cheat.
And no. The reality is that we will have a 30 year old right wing nut job on the Supreme Court by October. Done.
Unless Mueller can get a move on and has any one of the 50 impeachable offenses that trump has committed on video tape.
Even then . . . .

(11,125 posts)Now. Would you care for something substantive in the way of discussion, or should we just continue with little trump shots?
Your reply was lame because it did nothing to address the points I expressed. I take it you disagreed. Does that mean you think that mitch mcconnel will accede to the Democat's demand that he play fair and be honorable? Did you mean to express the opinion that republicans will be unable to seat a very conservative nominee before the election and seating of new legislative members?
Those are things that are debatable. Your reply was simply . . . well, lame.

(3,148 posts)As long as they stick together and block Donny's nominees is all that matters to me.
The losing strategy is thinking anything we say will get the Republicans on board with waiting till the midterms.
So blame Mitch for blocking Obama's nominees. Say it's because Donny is under investigation for treason or conspiracy to for accepting help from a foreign government.
It's all good by me.
