President Trump, discussing the New York Democratic Senate race, mocked Democratic Rep. Joe Crowley, saying he "got his ass kicked."

Trump, speaking about the winner in the race, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, said Crowley was beat by "a young woman who had a lot of energy."

Trump said he was "disappointed in a way" when Crowley got replaced because he would have replaced House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.
