Kathy Griffin Calls Marco Rubio ‘Spineless Embarrassment’ for Blaming GOP’s Lack of Trump Criticism on Media

Comedian Kathy Griffin did not hold back in her response to Sen. Marco Rubio‘s attempt to explain away the GOP’s lack of criticism of President Donald Trump by blaming the media turning “even little things” Trump does “into an act of evil.”

To back up his claims, Rubio tweeted out an Axios article noting, “92% of Republicans think media intentionally reports fake news.”

The report further explained, “Nearly all Republicans and Republican-leaning independents (92%) say that traditional news outlets knowingly report false or misleading stories at least sometimes, according to a new Axios/SurveyMonkey poll. Democrats and non-leaning independents also feel this way, but not nearly to the same extent.”

Griffin, however, was not the least bit impressed with Rubio’s explanation.
