KGB asset says what?

Norm Eisen @NormEisen 13m13 minutes ago
We have never seen an American president so brazenly kowtow to a hostile foreign power, or to dictators in general. And he’s back this morning on his Twitter account to promoting Russia’s false denials of attacking our election! Inimical to American interests.

Norm Eisen @NormEisen 13m13 minutes ago
This tweet bristling with lies. Worst of all, Trump’s back to promoting Russia’s false denials of attacking our election— contrary to the unanimous findings of our own American intelligence services. This together with summit announcement should shock us all. Let’s protest & vote

BREAKING: Trump is meeting with Putin on July 16th. This is absolutely absurd. They obviously will be conspiring to interfere in the 2018 election. Because Republicans can’t keep control of Congress without Russia’s help. Trump is the biggest traitor in US history. This is proof.

Not to be overlooked: Pompeo just told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee he was "confident" that when Trump meets Putin, "he will make clear that meddling in our elections is completely unacceptable."

Not even a day later, Trump questions whether Russia even interfered.

1. In case anyone thought Trump was going to confront Putin about election interference, he's STILL taking Putin at his word.
2. This is an open invitation for Russia to continue interfering with our elections & intensify hacking, cyber-attacks, info-wars.

The only "constructive solution" Trump and Putin have to work on together is how to maintain the best placed KGB asset in history. It's the summit of collusion.

Greg Sargent @ThePlumLineGS 15m15 minutes ago
Not to state the obvious, but ...

... a key reason Trump thinks he can keep inviting Russia to sabotage our next election on the GOP's behalf is that people like @DevinNunes and @RepMarkMeadows are working to undermine the Russia probe, with the tacit support of @SpeakerRyan.

Had more meaning that some pundits realize. Trump clearly has no issue with the fact that Russian manipulated our elections in 2016

...a private summit between the two is outright collusion with a foreign adversary actively attacking the U.S. election process, and a U.S. president already under active investigation for the same.

Last week my wife and I were walking our dog before taking off in our kayaks. At one landing spot where many boaters take a break, we met a group of people and started chatting it up. Just trivial talk, where did you put in, how’s the trip going, so on and so forth.

In the conversation it came out that they were camping at the campground at the state park that we were in and they came from Canada, mostly around the Windsor area. It’s just across the Detroit River, so Canadian guests are really no surprise in our area.

Well, after we got off our figurative knees begging them to adopt us, which brought out a healthy chuckle amongst all, they were our same age, we started talking about politics.

Obviously there was the Trump bashing and the like. This was just after Trump was at the G7 summit, so plenty of bashing and talk about hockey.

As we were saying our goodbyes one gentleman said to us “You have guns here, how is that man still alive?”

I responded, somewhat sarcastically, “He protected by the KGB.”

He looked at me with that all knowing Canadian look and just shook his head responding, “Oh, got it, guess you’re right.”

...I guess I'd have answered, Pence.

Also, the fact that most of the rabid gun owners are wingers.
