Flake Won't Block Supreme Court Pick

Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) told the Arizona Republic that he would not try to strong-arm the Trump administration on tariffs — or other issues — by withholding his support from a Supreme Court nominee.

Said Flake: “My goal here is not to block judges. My goal is to get a vote on tariffs, and I have all the leverage I need with circuit court nominees… I have all the leverage I need. I certainly wasn’t anticipating a Supreme Court vacancy, but it’s unaffected.”

The SC judge would exactly be the kind of leverage he needs. But he doesn't want real leverage. Just enough to continue his act.

The US is devolving into a dictatorship before our very eyes, and the ruling party is too chickenshit to stand up to Trump, the Koch Bros, Fox, the Christian right, and all the other trash that is making it happen. In fact, they're cheerleading it.

The only 2 women in the US Senate with Pro-Choice leanings, though they oppose abortion personally. They had better be thinking of their own daughters and granddaughters, as well as the females in their states their decisions will affect. The male GOPers in the Senate, as well as Deb Fischer and Joni Ernst, had also be considering the females in their states and what their decisions will mean if they vote for a nominee who is hell bent on reversing Roe v. Wade and Contraception.

Jeff Flake has abandoned the WOMEN and GIRLS in Arizona in fear of retribution from Trump to save his own hide. This will be his legacy.....RUNNING with your tail between your legs from a BULLY.

should be reminded that Putin neutered the judicial branch by filling his courts with loyalists. This isnt about politics or even conservatism. Its about saving a democracy. History will remember all these traitors.
