Do everything in your power to make a stunning result. Protests nation-wide tomorrow. It should be enough fuel under everyones rear ends to blast out of the recliner and drive to one. Even if you don't hold a sign...attend. Numbers count.

Expansive farms become smoke belching factories.
Beautiful beaches become stack after stack of condos and Trump resort hotels.
All highways are toll roads.
And all the peasants cheer their new God and brag about how wonderful the economy is as they pay homage to the Emporer.

When you own and control the media, you can say anything you want. They have that. We don't. If our media was truly liberal as they claim it was, Trump would have been laughed out of the primaries.

This is what happens when people don't get off their asses to vote or use that right to have a hissy fit.

How come the slaves of the Roman era put up with being kept in servitude, even though they outnumbered the Roman citizens?

why haven't workers risen up in mass to demand their fair share of the fruits of their labor, while they toil and struggle to feed their families as the owners and executives of the companies have more than they and their own families could ever consume in their lives?

People in general are way too easy to manipulate....

that it really doesn’t lend itself to being used for good. Using power for good usually means decreasing that power, which eventually results in failure and total loss of said power.

on local and state-level politics, allowing them a stranglehold in enough electoral votes and state legislatures to tender their minority status moot.

And sadly, “God rules. Guns rule. Brown people are stealing your shit.” is a pretty effective message in most of the country. Sometimes the stupid wins.

We need to get the vote out. Organize the Latinx vote. Get those Florida EC votes by mobilizing displaced Puerto Rican voters totally screwed by the Administration’s mishandling of hurricane relief. Don’t let some shitty white college boys split the party with their ‘bro nonsense like they did last time. Keep hammering on this ICE fiasco and making sure the gross orange wankstain currently occupying the White House is linked inextricably to photos of caged hysterical children.

Trump is eminently beatable if we pull our thumbs out of our asses and get it done. We’ve lost the Court for thirty years, but hopefully we can learn from that and get historic inevitably back on track.

Well, most of us aren't. But them, they're tribal and they go for the throat everytime.

I'm not saying we should become Republicans. But I do think we need elected officials who won't hesitate to use their own tactics against them to advance our own issues (e.g. ACA, reproductive choice, civil rights, etc.).

That's why you see these young people that are running against long-term, established Democrats. They're not beholden to years and decades of rules, norms and civility. They're more adept at doling out what the current situation merits.

The bad side of our human nature invites greed, hunger for power, selfishness, egotism and short-sightedness. Some of us totter to the good side and quench those urges and others do not. I've watched some of my childhood companions from the 60s go both ways.

It's unfortunate that more of the extremely wealthy don't use their wealth for good rather than pumping billions into right-wing causes, campaigns and media.

We must somehow find ways to isolate wealth from excessive power......
