Caught the interview last night. Warren is ready. She was very impressive. It was so good to hear someone sound "presidential" again after over two years of watching Trump. I don't know if she will win or not, but I think she is going to be damned hard to beat.
I am not jumping on the bandwagon yet. I want to hear her respond when brickbats are thrown at her. But if anyone is going to beat her they better have their A Game ready because she sounds like she's at top speed already.

(18,770 posts)She needs to keep on that message, and campaign like hell in the rust belt states - she can't take those for granted!

(9,717 posts)President, and even those who have not yet, are superb choices. When it comes down to the final choice I will, of course, vote for our nominee. Getting there will be the challenge.

(54,094 posts)I had some difficulty picking a candidate in 2004. But this year is a real Bumper Crop of strong contenders. We haven't had this manybgood choices since 1988. I'm feeling very optimistic about America right now, although I'm sure 2019 will beat that out of me.
I actually wanted Elizabeth Warren to run four years ago. She truly is brilliant. Her critiques of how predatory capitalism is squeezing the middle class is so insightful and so unifying. She's like Bernie Sanders for grown ups.
Like you, I'm not picking any one candidate yet. But I do know that having her up on the stage for the "cattle calls" is going to elevate the discussion. And that's a win for everybody

I believe Elizabeth Warren is on track to duplicate that quality staff. She has already hired one of Obama's top campaign experts
Elizabeth Warren knows how to organize a top notch grassroots organization like no other and this along with many other resaons I belive she will win Iowa and leave the pack behind going into NH
Anytime a candidate can defeat an incumbent by 8% it should tell us something about how well she can set up her organization...She won her reelection this time by what 23%
I am a progressive Liberal and Elizabeth Warren is my kind of candidate
I believe Democratic Voters are ready for a more progressive candidate regardless of how quickly the Corporate media is crying that Democrats need a more moderate.. Bullshit

(32,917 posts)INdemo, we're close to the same age and I have a pretty good recall of the last 50 years of elections. I agree that Obama's campaign organizers were the best & brightest in my memory. It seems that Elizabeth Warren knows her stuff and knows how to win. A lot can happen in 2 years, so I'm not ready to jump on the Warren train yet. But I do believe she'll be among the last ones standing in 2020. I hope she makes it.

(8,895 posts)They will torpedo her, like no one else before.
They have been trashing her for two years.
Just hope she wasn't a "swiftboat" honored officer............
you saw what they did to an honorable war hero Kerrey..........

She is 1,000 times more intelligent than the idiot in the White House and there aren't enough Republicans that are smart enough to "torpedo her"
