No one questions when there are two men on the ticket.

(8,656 posts)The US is still very much biased against women. never forget that. An all female ticket may be just the gift the GOP would play on with great happiness.

(13,340 posts)I think both women are remarkable. But I want to see what kind of campaigners they are.

That would be a fantastic ticket for America.

What a dream team that would be. Plus MORE women in both Houses of Congress under the Democratic Party banner. Things will get done for sure and for the better!

I was going to add on to my previous sentence with this: "...and represent what is and will be the on-the-ground reality in 2020an all male or all female ticket won't fly."
Then I thought about it and realized I wouldn't be against a Booker/Brown or Beto/Ojeda ticket either (google Richard Ojeda if you haven't heard of him), and then there is Andrew Yang who is as progressive as they come.
It's gonna be complicated, folks, and we're going to have to come to terms with and understand that the misogyny that played a big part in the 2016 election is still there and do we want to give the repugs that big a cudgel to wield against us if we run an all-female ticket?
