By including the image of Schumer, that makes it the dog whistle that the OP is referring.

If the article was simply critical of the bill because of the free speech issues they view, it would not have been, but inserting the minority leader's picture, they know exactly what they are inferring about the Jewish Senators.

I think Schumer was a co-sponsor or at least supported it in the version that came up last year or the year before, but I hadn't heard he had said anything about it in this session. I read some Repubs were calling for it to come to the floor at Truthout yesterday but the source was the Intercept and I didn't want to link anything from them as they're rumor-mongers with an agenda. I also heard from another source other Dems were standing tough and refusing to look at anything but budget legislation. The House will be sending individual authorizations for various segments of the government and word is some Repubs are on the edge of peeling away from Trump. In any case whether you support such boycotts is kind of beside the point when the issue is these anti-BDS laws...they're unconstitutional on so many levels yet we have them in 23 states I think? Seriously unAmerican stuff there.

I’m disappointed to see one of my senators as a co-sponsor as well.

And for what it’s worth, though he isn’t religious, Greenwald’s parents are Jewish.
