Comedian Kevin Hart appears to have little interest in addressing the controversy that got him booted from hosting the Oscars. And hes certainly not planning on accepting an offer to host the shows again.
Appearing on ABCs Good Morning America Wednesday, co-host Michael Strahan repeatedly asked the movie star to comment on his apology or controversy, to which Hart replied multiple times Im over it.
Theres no more conversation about it
Im over that, Im over the moment, Hard added saying that he had apologized multiple times roughly 10 years ago when the homophobic comments and jokes first happened.
Im not giving no more explanation of who I am, he added. Im just done.
Hart was named as host of the 2019 Academy Awards show on December 4th of last year but stepped down amid the controversy of homophobic jokes. Last week Hart appeared on the Ellen Degeneres show and found a sympathetic host.
