McConnell could have changed the rules for the Senate passage of a bill which would have had the stupid wall with a simple majority, and passed it in the last Congress, but he sees the writing on the wall, and knows the republican party's days are limited.

Unless the degenerate in the WH backs off his 3000 mile wall requirement, let him try to use executive privlege for it, and the courts will decide

Further, the statement from Trump that needs to be mentioned over and over is his response of "because you wont give me what I want if I do" when asked "why do you continue to hurt Americans with this shutdown?". For the life of me, I don't understand why this is not THE focus of his nonsense. Forget the lies, he outright stated he is intentionally harming Americans because Congress wont allow one certain spending item! Why are we not talking about removing this piece of garbage?
