If you are reading this you could be President

Obama would be in the White House on a snowy cold rainy day like today reading things with the football games on. Maybe basketball if he had two TVs - I'd guess he did. The family would be around doing their thing and dinner from the White House chefs would be at 6. I was told by someone who worked in the White House for 50 years that the dinner menu is given to the first family at 5pm, any changes are handled immediately.

I'm sitting here reading things on my iPad, Saints-Eagles game on, vegetable stew simmering on the stove. Two books within reach (Marcus Aurelius and Bear Grylls). The family is doing their thing around the house. Laundry going. Snow covered lawn with freezing rain/more snow on the way. Laid back but productive Sunday.

Trump is alone. Watching Politics on TV and tweeting about it.

Hoping! We're in a bit of a high spot, and a decent warm corridor. akraven Jan 2019 #4
Silly, it's obvious you don't need to be able to read to be President. Sadly. n/t TygrBright Jan 2019 #2

a slice of ham, eggs and biscuits for brunch, and some recently scored asparagus. Family is grown and gone, except for us and the kitties - and the kitties are doing their thing. It's 17 below, the stereo is playing softly, and I'm just enjoying DU.

I could be pResident better than the orange one!

It was 41 below at the airport (low spot) last night. Kitties are really mad at us..... They don't mind snow but get ticked when it gets cold! UP!

I wonder if his nannies still read his Little Golden Books to him when he's going night-night?
