Non-College White Voters Are Abandoning Trump As America Suffers From His Shutdown

trump is weaker with college educated whites and relies on non-college educated whites for his core support. I am amused that trump's antics may cause him to lose supporter with this group

I don't give a shit. They're still spectacularly rotten human beings, and they will never vote our way.

First is,what base line are they using. If they are selecting registered voters from 2016 ,well, that data is four years outdated to start with, millions were purged since then leaving only the super active voters who are mostly older and whiter.

When the variance is plus or minus 5 points, something smells. We have known from polling pre Trump era, their was a 22% hard core Rethug voters and that has stayed pretty much constant since Nixon. It is the Independent Voter variation that has swung polls the most.

I think now that their bank accounts have been drained of all the savings they accumulated during PBO's eight years, now they cannot realistically support a nepotistical sociopath who doesn't support their interests. But you need not worry. They've been here before, in 2007, after having had their bank accounts drained from Bill Clinton's economic expansion of the 1990s.

So, just give it time, once we work to help them get back on their feet, they'll turn around and bite us again.

believes that, by and large, Republicans don't change. That's kind of the definition of "conservative." They only care when something affects them, and then only until they can vote another Repub into office.

They don't learn. They can't see causes. They are too wrapped up in themselves.
