Barr confirmation hearing

Barr's confirmation hearing for A.G. begins tomorrow, Tuesday. Whitaker is just a grafter looking for fame and fortune, Barr is dangerous. Yes, Barr sent a resume' to Trump spelling out how he thought the Mueller investigation was an abuse of power, which won't be disqualifying for Republicans on the Judiciary committee. Boy I wish Al Franken were still with us to grill Barr.

Barr is the lawyer who advised George H.W. Bush to pardon 6 people who were involved in Iran/Contra, who would have gone to jail. George H. himself was involved in Iran/Contra.

Barr, if confirmed, is going to be a dangerous, far right A.G. who believes, basically, that the president has kingly powers. With Republicans in control of the Senate and with no Al Franken, I still would hope that somehow the members of the Judiciary committee make Barr commit to either recusing himself from the Mueller investigation, ha ha, or at least commit to allow Mueller to finish his investigation.

This is important stuff that will be happening tomorrow, Democrats can't allow Barr to be confirmed with free rein, without any commitments. Miss you Al.
