Schumer calls out McConnell over #TrumpShutdown on Senate floor, and it's a thing of beauty.

It looks like this is a live clip, so you may not be able to see and hear what I did. He said that it is "time for Leader McConnell to circumvent the president and re-open the government." There was more to it than that, building up to it, but that was the statement.

The #TrumpShutdown enters its 4th week. Hundreds of thousands of federal workers are feeling the sting.

Friday, 800,000 public servants missed their paycheck.

Tomorrow, the Coast Guard will be unable to deliver paychecks.

Time to re-open the government.

Just about 88,000 currently in the Coast Guard. But they just stop migrants and drugs.

...seem to be routinely abandoned once their cargo is offloaded on our beaches.

But try telling that to a Trumpite in Idaho. What do they know about our sea coasts?

He's watching the polls and I am sure there is magic number for him, As Trump's ratings drop, it will hit that number. Then McConnell will allow the house bill to be open for the Senate vote and it will be over.

....on the floor of both Houses in Congress.

24/7 taking turns.

DEMAND that McConnell do an up or down vote that will end this harm to the American people.

Make it a non-stop media event. Speeches are just a blip on the evening news. Get every TV camera to be there 24/7. Keep explaining the real situation, what 5.7 Billion could do for our own people, and the lack of border crisis to every camera.
