(767 posts)I have 3 grand parents who immigrated to USA. One from Wales and 2 from Mexico. My Mexican grandfather was 25% Irish. So I would get a 40% discount and my children 20%.....We look very white and we sunburn.

Love the old guy who says his Mexican DNA (22%) is bullshit, and then they tell him of the flying discount. Can he take his wife???
The knee-jerk stupid is stunning.

(1,040 posts)... Irish and German with a touch of Viking thrown in (those damned invaders). But I think this commercial and discount plan is brilliant. I lived in Texas for 20 years. And yes, there are some Bubbas and Bubettes who even if you showed them rock solid proof (as in DNA) they would absolutely deny being related to those 'Meskins.' Fortunately, even Texas is becoming more enlightened and inclusive. Still wouldn't move back, though.
Rock on, Aeromexico!
Now if Aer Lingus would only extend the same discount.

(2,866 posts)I could get a 61% discount, and if I wait it will probably go up. Originally my DNA test said I was 59%, but then they revised it.
