Beware the Ides of March

I keep saying this and I'll say it again: There will be a lot of "et tu Brutus's?" when his sycophants finally turn on him and rid us of him. His staunchest supporters will render the coup de grace.

Hail Caeser!

are afraid of something: admitting they were wrong, or losing their jobs at the next election, or coming across like spineless creatures, or blackmail, or forfeiting future payoffs, or breaking promises to the Russians, or something. I'd love to see a psychologist's take on this, and there have to be some historical precedents too. This is not just protecting T - I think there's more there.

And saying "they're all assholes" is not an answer. It's easy, but it's not a real answer.

It would have to be done very quietly, but I hope Nancy is talking quietly to alot of republicans, as is Chuck, about what the GOP senators see as their "escape plan". When they do get "Fed up" what will they ultimately vote for to end the insanity. The House could pass it "now" and have it ready and waiting when the senate is ready.

They've been around Congress for a long time and probably seen everything.

The schadenfreud will be delicious.
