I have no idea what will break the camel's back...

Because it's ALL horribly and progressively monstrous when it comes to Trump... EVERY SINGLE DAY.

There is no bottom of the barrel with this motherfucker. It's like all he wants to do is out-asshole his own damn self. The GOPrs are just sitting around with their thumbs up their asses, in full knowledge that they're ones who are going to ultimately pay the price for Trump's foolishness.

If he lasts the next two more years in office, I'm not even sure that America will be around at all. Impeachment looks to be the best remedy to save ourselves, but it's as if pols are staring at the barrel of a loaded gun if they bother to use it against Trump.

Don't get me started on cowardly politicians, we'll be here all night.

All I can say is this: Enough already, America needs a serious enema right about now, otherwise we're all going to suffer a national case of something really, really bad.

Whenever you hear something so unbelievably reprehensible you think "This is it!" - they manage to top themselves with something even worse - every single day. Well said, there is no bottom of the barrel to the ways these usurpers have come up with to harm this country and its citizens, and there is no end in sight. Who has the courage - or the power - to say "enough!" What does it take???

7. We have the House, and that is already more consequential than anyone knows. Just today...

Just today, 130 (!!!!!) GOP House members voted with every Dem in a bill put forward by Mme Speaker.

We might survive this. Not completely sure, but it could happen.

And gods help me, can we resurrect HUAC?

He does something ridiculous, it gets one or two days airtime and then it's forgotten. Makes me think a handful of obvious impeachable high crimes with ironclad proof would get 4 days.

Maybe it's gonna have to be incremental....tick a republican a week until we have critical mass.

10. They will either relent, and begin the process of Trump's removal...

Which will mean that
A. It will be an admission that the Republican choice for President was WRONG. ie..they were wrong.
B. Yet another Republican President impeached for criminal behavior.
C. They will be pissing off their most vocal radicalized segment of their base, initiating a civil war in the party.

Or

They can go all in. To full fascism. Brazenly refuse to impeach. Double down on lying that the FBI has been corrupted by a nefarious "deep state". That there is a covert coup going on threatening the country. A call to arms for their own brown shirts and militia's to rise up and defend their President and country. All this mirrored by Fox News, Rush, Drudge, InfoWars, and every conservative voice they can deputize to carry the water.

And the scary thing is, I am not sure of which road they will go down.

If this had been a Democratic president, I doubt the first week would have went by without at least one impeachment bill in the house. Shit, maybe before inauguration.

the sheer scope of trump’s crimes will be enough to keep Mueller busy for years to come. It’s frustrating on our end but I imagine on their end, just as you think you’re making headway, another crime is uncovered. It’s like whack-a-mole.

This is how I think it’ll go down:
I don’t think we’ll see a final report from Mueller this year. Mueller will issue his findings in early 2020. In November Trump will run for re election and lose. In the time between the election and inuguration he will resign and Pence will pardon him.
He may have problems with the state of ny stuff down the road, but he will be clear of the federal stuff. Yes, it’s a deeply unsatisfying end but it’s pretty easy to see how it could play out. I’m guessing other DUers have thought the same thing.

They cheated once, they will do it again, they have also become more sophisticated in their cheating, and it is very disturbing that Democrats, knowing the cheating will occur, are not proactive enough to make sure the repubs are not successful.

With an "Electoral College" still in place, it makes it even more difficult, the EC does not respect the will of the people, otherwise we would not be in this nightmare, Hillary Clinton would be our president.

Every layer peeled back reveals another layer of rot. There is no end. Eventually we will just have to cut our losses, admit he's rotten to the core, declare him a lost cause and go with what we've got.
