I had never heard of her before but I was stunned on how articulate she was on
the issues.
The shut down ... We can't give in to people abusing the system and people to get their way.
Trying to pass a bill to stop future shut downs.
Universal Background Checks .... They should be the law of the land, no excuses.

(3,402 posts)Not voting for Pelosi was a campaign promise. Now that Nancy is kicking ass and making Trump look like a six-year-old, Im sure Mikies in her camp. Keep in mind that her district had been considered a Republican stronghold until recently, and that her Republican opponent, Jay Webber, would have been terrible. So she made a campaign promise that would help her take votes away from Webber.
