I definitely have a new appreciation for those that have run past contests. Although time consuming, it is clearly rewarding too.

I think that the standard of photography in this final has been exceptional and dyedinthewoolliberal is a worthy winner - such stunning photography

The level of down right good photography was featured present during the contest. I can't image having to choose!

I voted for the winner....... although they are ALL winners.

The single gull(?) high in the evening sky, taking up most of the picture but accentuating the closing of the day.
