Then found out that my health insurance drug plan decided to exclude two medications that I have been taking under prescriptions from a specialist in the field...the plan simply cut the medications from the list of 'approved' medications and informed me via letter that I would have to switch to an older, less effective treatment schedule, over the objections of my doctor, or go out of pocket to the tune of $15,500 a year.

This is GOP living for middle class Americans circa 2019...while the poor are riled up and set at each other's throats (through race, religion, sex or all of the above) and the rich abscond with tax credits and breaks that bankrupt the system, the middle class sees their standard of living eroded year by year, decision by decision...and the morons who vote based on "culture war issues" sit back and smirk thinking "we showed those libtards with the SCOTUS and Gorsuch and Kavanaugh".

This country is a shit hole right now. It is on the way to veritable hell hole status by 2020 and if we do not regain the entire government it will simply cease to exist as a Constitutional representative republic entirely.

I am so disgusted by this entire situation that I am seriously ready to explode emigration options and get as far away from it as possible before the spasms of collapse start in earnest.

i live in connecticut, and in addition to the state income tax, i also pay a ton in mortgage interest and property taxes. it all made sense when i bought in 2007 (just in time to enjoy the full housing market crash), but now i'm locked into something that's more expensive than i would have liked.

personally, i don't mind taxes going up on someone like me. i'll get by fine enough. but i'm annoyed by the capriciousness of it (donnie trying to get revenge on the blue states) and i'm baffled as to how republicans think this will help the republican party.

there are a *lot* of republicans in my situation, and they'll be pissed -- and that will mean a prime source of donations for the republican party will dry up. they'll be left with the poor bigots and the greedy billionaires only. the upper-middle class republican will not be opening up their wallets for the republican party to the same extent they used to, at least, not those in states with high income and property taxes.
