(14,565 posts)That needs to be emphasized right now. The net gain would be enormous, with Trump approval at this level.
We can't sit back and wait for election year emphasis only. That forfeits margin for error. When I lived in Las Vegas and bet sports for a living the key was knowing when to wager. My friends and I weren't necessarily better handicappers than typical but we invariably had better numbers. I might have +7.5 while the guy seated next to me had +6.5. He waited until the last minute. And it's the same type of thing in politics. The margins are so slight you have to maximize opportunity when it is there. Last minute phone banking is the tired conventional wisdom slop approach, like the guy with the +6.5
