I heard the news that people are deeply saddened again. It doesnt matter the city, except that I remember my Dad driving through there sometimes. People get sad a lot. Hopefully the Supreme Court wont make that a constitutional right, to be saddened a lot, along with a constitutional right to give thoughts and prayers. Know what I mean?
Rest In Peace, whoever you victims are. Thoughts and prayers to your families. And my deep sympathy to the family of the stupid one that did it, unless you raised him intentionally or negligently to be that way.
Go back to sleep now, Supreme Court and NRA supporting hardliners. Nothing new to see here.

(25,929 posts)There's a list of things that changed after only one or maybe a few people died or were injured: After Jayne Mansfield and two others were killed when their car crashed into a semi-trailer and slid underneath, bars were installed at the back of such vehicles so that couldn't happen again.
When a number of people died from poisoned Tylenol in the Chicago area in 1982, over the counter medications were re-packaged to prevent tampering.
Those are only two.
Meanwhile, people get guns and murder blithely away and the best that is offered is "thoughts and prayers". Well, fuck that. I think all guns should be turned in. Confiscated if need be. Let's see what happens to the murder rate then.
