Wouldve been better for Trumpy to do state of the union

His speech would've been awful, people would see how divided the country is, he
would've looked terrible.

and that he's good-looking.

I was thinking today that he really looks like death warmed over.

And anyhow, he really, really wants to stand there on that high stage above all those senators, representatives, cabinet members, Supreme Court members, and in front of a huge prime-time TV audience, and spew his lies and hate while hundreds of extra security personnel have to protect his ugly ass without getting paid. He should not be given that platform.

Trump exists to play President and show his dominance. He lives for publicity.

IMHO, this has less to do with his garbage propaganda speech and more to do with depriving him of the attention and legitimatization he craves.

A speech with all the pomp and circumstance in Congress, with the GOP jumping up to applaud every few words, would give him a boost.

He should not be given such a powerful platform.

Besides, he is really upset about this, and that is always a plus.
