The $5.7 B was not presented as that, but Trump started calling it that after he was told he couldn't have it.

For the first time that I can remember, someone has said publicly that the 5.7bn is just the down payment. Just the beginning of a more than 30bn dollar boondoggle. Now the rest of his tweet is just stupid and a lie, but at least he was honest about the almost 6 billion being just the beginning.

I love the Democratic statement that they would do 5.7bn for border security measures with NO WALL. That was awesome!
