That Stone arrest was some serious shit.

Mueller doesn't showboat ,and if I remember right, most of the other people turned themselves in or came to Court for the indictment.

So WTF was this morning? Was Stone a serious flight risk? Something bigger?

2. My guess is that this was similar to the Manafort arrest.

Arrive early and seize everything before the criminal can destroy the evidence.

around since he has known and said he would be indicted.

This raid was far more expected than Manafort's.

Maybe they can't help themselves but if I was Stone, my electronics would be at the bottom of the Atlantic by now.

14. True, but associates of Trump are often criminals.

And criminals often have the moments of stupidity.

Perhaps he thought that his wealth and connections made him untouchable.

Forensic investigations seem to have come a long way. People think that they are destroying evidence, but they aren't. The guess here is that if he did any of his criminal activity electronically, he is screwed.

They raided his New York house after they took him in it was revealed by Chris Hayes I think... they didn't want him destroying some evidence.

7. You see a cartoon of one of Trump's cronies in court

- that's one thing

You see a pack of FBI agents in vests armed with AR15s or whatever converge in a dawn raid on CNN - that's no cartoon - that's some serious stuff going down.

I suspect a few more Trumpters seeing that said to themselves "ok, there's got to be something to this ..."

Sarah Sanders and Rudy cannot spin much out of that indictment - it is riddled with collusion evidence

29 agents in 17 cars with lights and sirens just before daylight for one of Trump's closest longest "friends".

the agents are unpaid. I hope they enjoyed the hell out of arresting Stone, and love the message they sent doing it.

10. I truly believe that it was because he'd destroy evidence, and is known to have firearms.

They didn't send a couple of choirboys to get Capone.

He's Tony Montoya without the accent. They had every right to bring the heat. I'm just sad he didn't try to put his hand in his wasteband.

My favorite part of Roger Stone’s Arrest? That the FBI used their SWAT team to support the arresting agents. You never know when a felon is going to go full felony and start a shoot out.
