Roger Stone says he won't cooperate with mueller...good, go to prison you dumb fuck. Mueller

Doesn’t need anymore informers. He has so many flippers it’s like being in a pancake eating contest. Cooperators are only a little useful anyway. Without hard evidence Mueller’s investigation can’t move.

Cooperators only are useful in filling in and giving a human angle to to an investigation like this at this point. One of Roger Stones problems is appearing even remotely human. One look at him and no matter what he says, no one will believe it. Mueller is better off with Stone just going to prison. So also is the American public.

(I know - bad sentence structure, but it's the only way to get it to fit.)

Anyway, if the crimes Stone is charge with, and eventually convicted for, involve trump*, I don't see how a pardon is possible. I know there are few restrictions on his pardon power, but surely, that has to be one.

since interacting with Trump is likely an element of the criminal act. That would make Trump a co-conspirator.

If Stone is convicted of anything at all more than two years from now, whoever is president then won’t want to pardon him.

I assume that would violate his right to a speedy trial, but not if evidence comes to light later in the investigation that would bolster a new case against him.
