Trump gets dominated

Traitor Donald Trump came out and ended our 35-day nightmare by… agreeing to the same deal to open government that he rejected 35 days ago.

The government has a 3-week reprieve, with no funding for his ludicrous wall. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi rolled him like a mark down at the wharf.

In his Rose Garden statement, Trump went on another onanistic rant about trafficked women being duct-taped, and threatening another shutdown or a declaration of a national emergency should he not get wall funding at the end of three weeks. But it’s all for show. As even Mick Cernovich realizes, Trump’s presidency is done. Pelosi and Chuck Schumer tag-teamed Trump, keeping Democrats in lockstep, and made it clear that he no longer runs things. The three weeks will come, and a deal will be put together which increases funding for border security, without the asinine wall being part of it. And the GOP Senate, because its members want to keep their jobs come 2021, will defy Trump and vote to fully fund the government.

This was the break in the dam we’ve been waiting for. As long as the GOP held unitary control of the White House and Congress, Trump ran unchecked. Suddenly, he’s being held to account, and is floundering. He’s a lazy scoundrel who doesn’t like to work; dealing with a house of Congress in opposition hands is too much for his addled mind to process. I predict that he will slide into further irrelevance, until Robert Mueller releases his report and the House beings impeachment proceedings.
