Shutdown cost more than Trump wanted for the wall

While President Donald Trump announced legislation Friday to end the partial government shutdown, its economic cost was $6 billion as of Jan. 25, according to estimates by S&P Global Ratings. That's $300 million more than Trump's demand for $5.7 billion to build the southern border wall.
