(82,849 posts)Why weren't these transcripts furnished to the Special Counsel before now? Wasn't the House Intelligence Committee interested in pursuing justice and getting to the bottom of this matter? Who's been running things in that committee? Oh, yeah . . . right.

He gets to make hearings public.

(12,161 posts)can't do anything until some republicans sign up to be on it. So far, only Dems are on the committee.
Anyone know if Speaker Pelosi can appoint some House republicans to be on it?

(12,161 posts)You're right, and Nunes and McCarthy are the only republicans on the committee so far.
It appears that Speaker Pelosi appoints members (why Nunes, for crying out loud?), but so far other Minority members are TBA, which I guess means To Be Announced.
