Watched maybe 20 seconds of her show and she said Democrats also owned the shutdown by failure to pass or negotiate a deal earlier and then showed a clip from Meet the Press with McCarthy backing up what she had just stated.....I should know better than to watch even 5 seconds of that show

(5,252 posts)at Davos interviewing all the billionaire intellagencia. Some must have rubbed off on her. She also was a financial reporter on other networks. Got to take her with a grain of salt.

(44 posts)She and Ali Velshi. She also interrupts as much as Joe Scarborough. Frustrating...
INdemo
(6,994 posts)by their Republican producers since after all they are owned by a Corporate Media Mafia (Comcast) that loves Trump.
Obviously TRM show can operate differently and not follow anything because of her superb ratings

(16,423 posts)Not everyone has to be a relentless progressive like RM, LOD, etc.
She definitely slips into the both siderism bullshit at times.
By and large he and Velshi have been taking Rs to school over the last two years.
Wounded Bear
(58,792 posts)she's conservative, because she comes out of the corporate world and finance.
But she has heart. And besides, she's gorgeous.

(92,527 posts)lie. At that time she was a big Chris Christie fan
Don't know the reason why she left Bloomberg, but I suspect some of it was because she started voicing her personal political opinions, and in general Bloomberg tries to have the hosts not to inject their personal views in interviews they do, and she was one of the worst, and her bias was very evident when interviewing a republican verses a Democratic

(36,926 posts)So I usually avoid her show.
Edit: Sorry I meant to post this to the OP, not you!

(92,527 posts)her interviews, and her bias, (in my view republican), was evident in her interviews
MoonRiver
(36,926 posts)but I have found her former (current?) association with them odd. Definitely would indicate a pro-corporate bias.

I disagree. She and Velshi have been constantly trashing Donnie.

(6,817 posts)Know that she comes from the financial world. Her husband is a venture capitalist and uber wealthy. If a decent Republican shows up, she will shift back. Shes fairly harmless and one of the few Republicans with a heart. We like her now because she hates tRump. I could say the same about Jennifer Rubin, Steve Schmidt, Nicole Wallace, Rick Wilson.
Me.
(35,454 posts)she's MIA as often as Mika and JOe
SCantiGOP
(13,878 posts)And one of the better ones in my opinion.
If I want someone beating the drums for Democratic purity I can get that elsewhere.
I dont see the point of labelling anyone with a divergent viewpoint as a Republican shill, which means that they are being paid by the GOP to present their ideas.

(2,550 posts)The fairness doctrine had two basic elements: It required broadcasters to devote some of their airtime to discussing controversial matters of public interest, and to air contrasting views regarding those matters. Stations were given wide latitude as to how to provide contrasting views: It could be done through news segments, public affairs shows, or editorials. The doctrine did not require equal time for opposing views but required that contrasting viewpoints be presented. The demise of this FCC rule has been considered by some to be a contributing factor for the rising level of party polarization in the United States.[2][3]
The fairness doctrine is not the same as the equal-time rule. The fairness doctrine deals with discussion of controversial issues, while the equal-time rule deals only with political candidates. --> https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FCC_fairness_doctrine
