My BFF and her wife were married in 2004 and the wedding was awesome; the brides (both) mom's provided the reception food and a gorgeous cake. I still have a wedge frozen.

I met BFF in my first year of high school. That's 50 years. They're still married with 4 adopted kids now out in the world. BFF is/was a Marine. Her wife is/was USAF.
