He has been a regular guest on Nicoles show and elsewhere. I dont see how that continues if he is now advising a potential POTUS candidate.

So, it's even worse than you thought!

(16,548 posts)McCain picked Palin. And whats more, Schmidt didnt even discover Palin. That was Rick Davis.
Schmidt is a cock knock for working with Schultz but he didnt make Palin happen. Also, people assume Palin or someone like her wouldnt have surfaced if Palin wasnt on the ticket in 2008. This doesnt make a lot of sense when you look at how the Obama presidency unfolded and how it made white conservatives completely unhinged over 8 years. It was only a matter of time.

(11,001 posts)as the election season cranks up. Look for Morning Joe to go back to his putrid anchoring along with all the minions on hiss show.
If the RNC keeps a repub from challenging Trump, these pundits will find an independent they like & bash the hell out of the dems. "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" isn't always true.

(6,709 posts)his (and all Never-Trumpers) opposition to rump was all about preserving the puke party as a going concern...and so is this candidacy.

(16,888 posts)Really sad to see...I was actually thinking slowly the Schmidt had principles- looks like he is no different than all the others who care about money more than their country.
There is no way Steve Schmidt can ever convince me that he took this gig because he thinks Howard Schultz can save this country and is best for us.
What a sad story for Schmidt to nail to his Bio...
