Stephen King has a question for Trump fans.

?s=19

Another Trump insider appears bound for the old (Roger)stone hotel. How long before Trump supporters realize that you don’t surround yourself with dirty guys unless you’re dirty yourself?

as it took nixon's supporters to realize the same thing about him. (A quarter of the country was still behind him at that point...)

So long as abortion is made illegal they don’t care what it takes to get it. I think this is the religious right issue, not the wall.

When he told him to get born again and find religion for votes, Trump did the same thing except he doesn’t even have to pretend much as long as he gives them what they want.

9. I just can't grasp why one fanatic group demands depriving others of their own rights.

An embryo cannot sustain its existence without the mother as host. Therefore, it ain't murder to terminate it. The fact that they choose a glob of cells over the human being who is actually lettin it ride along internally is outrageous. It's made more outrageous by the fact that once the kid slides out of the birth canal, they no longer give a shit about the rest of its life or the woman who has had to sustain it in utero and must maintain its life thereafter. Fucking assholes.

That is pretty big news.

A shame that the train has to crash through one’s own living room before one concedes that it was a bad idea to buy the easy-looking shortcut that some slick-talking CONman was selling.

11. The catch: 45 supporters LOVE playing dirty, as their "imperfect vessel" brings on the end of days.

His supporters are a sad lot on numerous fronts. The few among them who still sense some vestiges of reality have to know that the hardcore base is in for a surprise when things finally shake out, assuming they believe it. Which they won’t.

Roger Stone freaking out at his first night in prison (which looks like Shawshank.)

While all the other prisoners are enjoying a night of fishing...

I live in a red part of NY, the contortions that trump supporters here go to make the blame fall on democrats is comical. I believe most will never stop. If he is impeached they will blame the deep state. Its bad.

And sometimes I just wanna smack them upside the head. It's so infuriating. Not only about 45, but also because they absolutely refuse to comprehend that voting R is literally voting against their own best interests. That's a whole other can of worms, though.

I've been thinking about this a lot, trying to make sense of why and how they can still be so bamboozled by 45. At this point it really is delusional.

For some, it's got to be the psychological implications that come with admitting and accepting their original judgement was terribly, horribly flawed. And the idea of: what else in my life have I misjudged that badly? That's heavy stuff. Hopefully some of those folks will come around to "anyone but that asshole" by the time primary season arrives. The others, though ... Ugh.

The rest of them, imho, are the straight-up racist pieces of shit; the rabid misogynists, homophobes and transphobes; assorted trolls who just want to see the government and everything else burn down; the nutty evangelicals and dominionists–the doomsday cultists who want the world to burn down so they'll be raptured; and a handful of just pure dum-dums. The type of people who don't understand that "reality" tv is not, in fact, reality.

That core base of stupidity and seething, bitter hatred and fear is relatively small. But they are loud, so it makes them seem larger than they are. I really don't think that ~28% of R voters who make up 45's base will budge. Those people will never, never change.

Thankfully, it's a small group that can easily be defeated. But it's also sad to realize there are that many shit humans out there.
