The coldest recorded windchill in Minnesota was in 1936; it was -67 (-87 using the old formula that was changed in 2001). In 1982 we had windchills of -71 (-100 under the old formula). This is nothing new. It's unpleasant but if you bundle up and keep your face and hands covered you'll be fine.
