Lord I am sick to death of Chris Christie.

His PR people are working overtime to put his ugly face out there as much as possible for a book nobody is going to read.

Just watch the interview from Colbert's show last night. He'd have to elevate himself by several miles to reach "Abysmal." It's beyond me how he got one, let alone two terms as governor of any state.

But Christie has an engaging manner when it suits him. There was a clip circulating a year or two ago of Christie honoring some young man who had earned his Eagle Scout award. Speaking without notes or any other references, Christie went on for several minutes, complimenting the young man and listing some of his accomplishments, addressing his parents and his scoutmaster by name, and talking up the town in New Jersey where they were all from.

Forgetting for the moment the man making the presentation, it was pretty impressive. Christie knows how to work a room in a friendly environment. Not so much when confronted by a striking teacher or when asked about taking a limo from the helipad to his son's ball field.

Think about all the chasing after: 1) got criticized for buddying up to Barrack for hurricane help (which Barrack would have given anyway. 2) chasing after SPRINGFIELD, who dissed him. 3) chased after the Dallas Cowboy owner, who humiliated him. 4) chased after SHITLER, who WAY humiliated him. 5) did it last night with COLBERT, who insulted him multiple times to his face.
