It was reported that Trump Jr. was not on phone with Trump (we don't know that, but apparently the numbers aren't Trump's). One of the people is Howard Lorber, a very close friend of Trump.

is reporting this. When Adam Schiff says it wasn't mfTrump then I will believe it. CNN was pretty vague about the proof that it was not Trump.

I doesn't prove who the conversation was with. I would be more interested to find out the location of Lorber's phone at the time of the call.

The speculation has been the calls were to daddy. That, assuming this story is true, is now quashed.

Now we can come up with all kinds of things that could have happened, like Junior met with daddy after meeting and had girls urinate on them while dad was updated. But that hasn't caused Senators to do anything, or even trump supporters to go against him.

If this story is true, one of the easy roads to proving trump new of collusion is blocked. Doesn't mean it didn't happen, but proving it is going to be more difficult.

Personally, I think if Mueller had the goods on trump, he'd have said so by now rather than let a traitor do more damage to the country. I'm ready for Mueller to issue a report, and let the House take action on it if there is enough there. If not, we better figure out another way to beat trump if he decides to run (which seems less and less likely).

Worst case, is trump decides not to run, the Mueller investigations sort of fades away except for a few underlings, GOPers run some sort of palatable candidate in 2020 and manage to label our candidates a danger to our country. All that is laughable after trump, but 50% of country seems to be fine with the likes of trump.

to just hand over a phone for someone, anyone, to do whatever they want. Those two didn't get to be billionaires by being complete idiots. Especially when burner phones are so readily available.

I'm not anywhere close to a millionaire or a billionaire, and I can't imagine just handing my phone over to someone to do whatever they want with. That's like asking to be robbed, have information stolen, or have someone impersonate you to anyone they choose.
