Wow, So many ways he challenged those listening to stretch, grow, reach beyond themselves in such an inspired manner. That he willingly confesses his own shortcomings - using them as teaching moments to instruct others to look beyond the lables that we place on others is inspired, as he had occasion to do.

The one thing I will take with me is this: "We have such power that we do not use." And the explanation that followed reached me.

This was well worth the time to watch it, so thank you for finding it for me.

Great speechifying. That's about it after Newark in my eyes so far.

Wonder why Obama didn't and hasn't championed him given that Booker was/is following Obama's playbook.

Keep him in the Senate to make those impassioned speeches. A good guy, but not my future President.

As mayor of Newark he chose to live in a poor neighborhood. Arriving home he saw his neighbors building on fire, before the fire department arrived. He fought off his body guard who tried to stop him and ran in, carrying the elderly woman living there out. He risked his own life to save hers. He suffered smoke inhalation. He got second degree burns on his hands. He is the real deal. And don’t forget that he saved the freezing dog named cha-cha.

because he's not overt. He doesn't rant and scare people about raising taxes to 70 or 90% and fall into headline soundbites that millions upon millions see.

As far as I know, nobody is suggesting 'raising taxes to 70 or 90%.'

Three of them were hospitalized as well.

One member of his detail tried to prevent him from returning to the building to look for other people in the building because the fire had gotten worse and his job was to protect him.

Lets not be so hasty to crown the good senator yet. Give him some room to grow in political experience, national and foreign policy exposure. While his academic credentials are impressive, an ivy league education does not a good president make.

They are apparently working on the campaign!

Being 6'4" would make Dotard's height claims obvious at the debates!
