Will Trump shut down our government again on the 15th?

I don't think he will? He is mostly blowing hot air, in my opinion.

Mitch McConnell has already warned him not to do it. He cannot afford to get on the wrong side of Mitch McConnell.

So, will he then call it a "national emergency"? If he does, it will probably head straight to the Courts.

What other options does he have?

He never seems to run out of hot air...

political suicide for the Republican party. But first and foremost it would further damage Federal workers and their families. Damage further our fragile economy.

Requesting a National Emergency for a non national emergency wall would overstep his power and such would be caught up on many years of litigation. t-rump's administration are already siphoning monies from Federal agencies and that is one reason he froze pay raises.

He needs to go.

but I think I’d like to see him try by declaring an emergency. The courts would make mincemeat outta his arguments. The situation was not an emergency until the midterms. How long can an “emergency” sit around and be dallied with?

The move would totally destroy any credibility he has left.

It’s like...”No, no, wait a little bit we’re still working out just where to put the tourniquet, should know in a week or two”.

Yeah, that’s an emergency

... to get the impact of his emergency powers edict to ‘build the wall’, and get the credit for ending the shutdown and ‘showing the strength’ to get his wall.

Declare a national emergency? Bring it! It’ll blow up in his face.

Shut down the government? It’ll send the GOP over the edge. It’ll damage the economy. The GOP will be laughing stocks.

Negotiate with Pelosi and the Democrats? That’ll make him look weak in the eyes of the Deplorables.

Not sure if he has any other choice than those and they aren’t good for him, and that’s what matters. It’s all about him.

and he'll declare his emergency as well. McConnell will fold like a cheap suit as he always does for the nasty clown man.

Courts will say no to the emergency, SCOTUS will go with him 5/4.
