I live in Central Texas so am able to drive (takes a while) to see this wall that is being built.

If I can get a GPS setting, I will be able to go tomorrow & get pictures. Does anyone have that information? I don't have the time to go up and down all 1254 miles of shared border.

Eight years ago. The US—Mexican border was on the side of the road and reminded me of nothing so much as photos of the Iron Curtain from the bad old days of the Cold War. Fences with razor wire, a plowed strip, another fence with razor wite, all it lacked were Stasi guards and land mines.

Donnie’s Wall isn’t needed.

I saw nothing like that. The most disturbing thing to me were fields of irrigated crops. The use and depletion of ground water is horrible and is way more harmful than any mother and child fleeing violence and poverty.

Because I was on the highway RIGHT NEXT TO the border West of El Paso through to Columbus, NM and those wire fences and plowed-earth strips were very, very much there. What you see from the Interstate AIN’T what you’re going to see right next to the border.

I stand by what I saw.

The building of it was a total clusterf**k. Some of the eminent domain cases are still in court.

BTW, you try stepping on those people's land and you have a real possibility of being shot and the sheriff will be fine with it.
