So, that’s Plan A: Stream content.
Plan B: pop in a BluRay Disc or DVD from my library of 200+ titles.
Plan C (which can be simultaneous with A or B): hang out here at DU to catch others’ feedback.

It'll probably be on in my house somewhere as there are others who'll want to watch. But I won't watch.

The reason is that after 2 years of Trump, there is nothing new that he can say that would change my opinion of him or his policies. He and his administration will be the same train wreck after the SOTU as they were before the SOTU. There will be no surprises.

If there was news of some new direction that might be revealed - on the wall, or immigration, or LGBT rights, or his orientation toward our world allies, or a reversal on the tariffs, or anything that would demonstrate a major move in the direction of goodness instead of evil - then I'd watch. But, there's been no such news. He'll be the same Trump after as before.
