It's interesting how they are incapable of just stating a compliment, either of themselves or others, but can only do it as a comparison. He doesn't just say she's doing a lot for women. She's doing MORE for women than ANYBODY ELSE. Just like his father is unable to just say he's doing a good job (which, of course is a lie, but that wouldn't make it different than anything else he says), but he's doing the BEST job anyone has EVER done.

The pathology there is really something.

They feel less-than, so they lie about more-than because they think that they are not worth loving if they told the truth. The truth is not good enough in their minds. It's how they have been raised. All of them.

That and they are just horrible human beings.
