She is brilliant, she is grounded and measured, and she is a serious person.

One way or the other, I hope she is in some way on the ticket in 2020.

Her page says "Paid for by AFA, Inc." - Maybe that stands for something like "Amy for America" - you think?

Meanwhile, I don't even have to watch the video. Just take a screen capture from the OP. It could be a campaign poster all by itself. It is the definition of class and likability. And also great instincts, to use that background.

Beto and Klobuchar are a cut above, IMO

If our candidate can't survive the Trump onslaught and especially the socialism theme, then none of our issues matter. They'll be on the shelf.

it's like rating them 1A, 1B, 1C etc.

Being in Iowa with relatives in Minnesota I have watched their senators with a lot of jealousy over the past couple of years. Klobuchar is very good.

Harris is very good.
Warren is very good.
Brown is very good.
Booker is very good.
Etc.

As one of her constituents I'm not quite convinced yet. She's been improving lately, but her history as a senator for MN has mostly been one of avoiding conflict, promoting feel-good legislation, and wishy-washiness on controversial issues. I'm going to sit back and watch for awhile before getting on her (or anybody else's) bandwagon. I also hope she gets staff people who are more helpful and less rude than the ones she has now.

her voting record in the senate is somewhere in the middle of Senate Democrats in terms of how progressive it is - so, she might have trouble getting votes in the primaries when you have Harris, Booker, Gillebrand and Warren already in the race, and Sanders and Brown as possibilities and all more liberal than her in terms of voting records.

That said, the six I mentioned above could split the progressive vote and leave the more moderate Democrats to Klobuchar

32. One thing we're going to see for the first time in a Presidential nomination race
Wed Feb 6, 2019, 06:22 PM
Feb 2019

is at least two women debating each other. Yes, I know that it has happened in statewide races before, but the Presidential nominating process has the media spotlight on it in a much more severe way.

I've understood that men want to go out of their way to not be seen as bullies in a debate with a female candidate (OK, Trump was an exception) but what will it look like when three or four females go at each other without such reservations? Will they all do so in a way that elevates the debate, or will it just look like a catfight?

Before you answer, reflect for a moment that Sen. Gillibrand will be on that debate stage, and she's shown that she will go for the jugular even against a fellow Democratic officeholder. Sen. Harris is well versed in the art of needing to look tough, given her legal experience. And, if she's still in the race by then, Sen. Warren has shown that she will persist, even if it is beating a dead horse.

Is Sen. Klobuchar going to look like she's rising above all of that? Or will she be perceived as lacking something because she's not willing to enter the fray?

Be assured that Trumpsters will be guaranteed to portray it as such, it's all a matter of whether the folks who are undecided agree with them.

Something new is about to occur for the first time, I'm just projecting the possible spin on it.
