One of Trumps most vocal black supporters seemed to defend Hitler in a recent speech
If Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, okay, fine, Candace Owens told a London audience. The problem is that he wanted, he had dreams outside of Germany."

There arent too many black Americans willing to vouch for President Trumps Make America Great Again agenda. And those who do often find themselves in hot water, even on diversity issues.
The latest example is Candace Owens. She is one of the presidents best-known black supporters. The 29-year-old activist and social media aficionado regularly appears on Fox News imploring black Americans to leave the Democratic Party. She counts hip-hop artist Kanye West among her fans.
Owenss name was trending on Twitter Friday after a clip of her sharing her thoughts on Adolf Hitler went viral.
At a December event in London, Owens said:
I actually dont have any problems at all with the word nationalism.' I think that the definition gets poisoned by elitists that actually want globalism. Globalism is what I dont want, so when you think about whenever we say nationalism, the first thing people think about, at least in America, is Hitler."

After backlash, conservative pundit Candace Owens clarifies viral Hitler comment
Joel Shannon, USA TODAY Published 10:11 p.m. ET Feb. 8, 2019
Conservative pundit and speaker Candace Owens has responded to criticism of recently unearthed remarks she made late last year commenting on Hitler while defending the term nationalism.
A clip of her answer posted to Twitter has been viewed more than two million times. Many on social media have criticized a portion of her answer in which Owens comments, "if Hitler just wanted to make Germany great and have things run well, okay fine."
On Friday, Owens dismissed the controversy and blamed "Leftist journalists" for mischaracterizing her comments.
Hitler was "a homicidal, psychotic maniac" and there is "no excuse or defense ever for ... everything that he did," she clarified.
Her comments were meant to show that Hitler was not a nationalist, she said. Hitler did not put Germans first; he "was putting German Jews into concentration camps and murdering he was a mass murderer," she said.

Oh the backpedaling! Too late Candace. Jim Crow laws inspired Hitler's race policies.

Is Owens unaware that Repubs' vision of white America has no place for her in it?

Youre just basic, Candace.

I think "nitwit" fits her to a tee.

They want her deported or killed. Their love for the Confederacy is not some fleeting admiration.

Have they stopped teaching history in schools?
