'Bring back our childhood diseases!' Wife of top Trump official goes on unhinged rant against vaccin

Darla Shine, the wife of White House Deputy Chief of Staff for Communications Bill Shine, went off on an unhinged Twitter rant against vaccinating children on Wednesday.

Shine was apparently set off on her Twitter rant by watching a CNN report on a major measles outbreak that has hit the state of Washington, where vaccination rates for children have plummeted in recent years...

Shine got massive blowback on Twitter for her rant, with a ratio of roughly 13 responses for every like. This did not deter her, however, as she continued to attack vaccinations in a followup tweet.

“Was waiting for the left to come after me,” she wrote. “As soon as I retweet a fact about #Vaccines they come after me. Bring it on!”

when my 43 and 47 year old children were young the chicken pox vaccine hadn't been developed yet..yes both of them got chicken pox..and after they recovered I got it...I was 31..not only did I have chicken pox I had shingles on top of that...not possible?...oh yes it is...and three days into it I lost my hearing in one ear...my equilibrium was shot..because I was in my 30s I never developed an immunity to this "childhood" illness...I've had recurrent shingles, pericarditis, viral pneumonia, and a host of other varicella related crap ..all because of a childhood disease...Darla Shine you dumb bitch shut the hell up!

reject science, be it medical, environmental, Climate Change, whatever. There's been a movement for over a decade to distrust experts on any and every subject. Opinion is now considered factual and ignorance is viewed as a virtue. Intellectuals are scorned as out-of-touch eggheads. Sarah Palin who can't string a sentence together was a VP candidate.

And now we have the Trumpster squatting in the White House because ignorance is . . . blissful blindness.

They made it through polio in their childhoods, prior to the vaccine being available---and now it's coming back on them in old age.

The anti-vaccination morons better keep themselves and their offspring away from my grandchildren.
